Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires effective leadership skills, a keen understanding of operational processes, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including daily reconciliations and reporting.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control measures.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings that align with customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management within a casual dining environment.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for transaction processing and reporting.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Experience in training development and staff training to enhance team performance.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- A background as a cook is advantageous for understanding kitchen operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
