Responsibilities

Scope & Summary: The Sr. Product Manager, Endosee, Pessaries and Other Office Products will be responsible for the Uterine Health Portfolio, including the vision & mission, implementation of the strategy for marketing, launching, selling, and distribution execution of Endosee, Pessaries, Colposcopes, and other Uterine Health Products to achieve corporate & division financial objectives in the US and select International markets. This position will report to the Director of Marketing, Diagnostics and Uterine Health.

This role will direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management across these portfolios, including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field. This role will lead a team to develop, implement, and align strategies and tactics focused on the successful commercial launch, penetration, and profitability of the overall business globally.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:

  1. Management of the strategic portfolio roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product throughout the full portfolio lifecycle.
  2. Team leadership, including influencing and coaching Product Marketers and creation of functional strategies and specific objectives for each team member.
  3. Development of budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Leadership

  • Proven success in driving downstream marketing initiatives cross-functionally
  • Effectively motivate a team and inspire collaboration and success

  • Understanding & prioritization of Customer needs
  • Ability to effectively manage day-to-day business initiatives and to occasionally stretch into broader assignments, with coaching and support
  • Manage and communicate the portfolio budget priorities and updates with a regular cadence to deliver revenue while meeting OPEX commitments
  • Coach and mentor more junior marketers, taking an active role in recruiting and developing talent

Marketing

  • Assess needs for marketing research and analysis, including (VOC) voice of the customer
  • Identify important, non-obvious customer insights and turn into innovative new product concepts
  • Drive, with support as needed, the development, testing and implementation of brand messaging, campaigns, and marketing materials
  • Ability to identify the needs of the business and help determine the direction it needs to go by gathering and analyzing internal and external data to make informed decisions
  • Support the development, and own execution of annual marketing plans and commercialization strategies
  • Inspire creativity & collaborate globally
  • Effectively plan to ensure that top line sales goals and bottom-line profit goals are met, by overseeing the execution of brand strategies through various functional departments, and external vendors, and by recognizing the profitability and revenue impact of all business opportunities

Strategy

  • Develop and deploy strategy across Clinical areas of responsibility given the trends related to the GYN and OB markets
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and make recommendations on future strategic opportunities
  • Lead team in Product launch (Capital, Disposable, Software) strategy and execution
  • Continually maintain portfolio prioritization and product strategy
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all US corporate functions, including Sales, Supply Chain, Medical Education, Regulatory, R&D, Medical Affairs and more
  • Ability to work strategically with the Sales Organization to understand our internal-customer needs and to be acutely in tune with the Customer needs
  • Willingness, curiosity, and ability to take a leadership role on initiatives across CSI such as global campaigns, roadmap planning, etc.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

  • Strategic thinker with proven executional management skills and track record of flexible agility to multitask
  • Able to execute against multiple high-pressure initiatives while delivering on committed timelines
  • Experience with Single Use products and associated strategy across all or most of the associated clinical areas
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous or high-stress situations, challenging the status quo responsibly
  • Track record of working collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Proven track record of successful portfolio results
  • Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal, time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated pattern of intellectual curiosity and innovative thinking
  • A true team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and lead with executives both within the company and with all external stakeholders
  • Ability to understand product P&Ls with basic understanding of modeling to build and achieve revenue projections

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Product Manager level Medical Device Marketing experience on a comprehensive, successful portfolio – Hospital and outpatient procedure and product line experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the medical device space, specifically Women’s Health and the Office and ASC markets
  • 1+ years of running Annual Business Planning development and successful championship to management

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience (eg: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field and 3+ years in product management or marketing role)
  • Education preferred: Advanced degree, especially MBA in Marketing, General Management, or an advanced scientific degree
