We're seeking a dynamic, sales-oriented Membership Sales & Experience Director to lead our member services department and drive our membership growth.

As the Membership Sales & Experience Director, you will spearhead our membership services, engagement initiatives, and sales campaigns. Your role will be pivotal in recruiting, training, and supervising staff, while also leading welcome center procedures, membership development, retention strategies, and branch marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
  • YMCA Team Leader certification preferred within three years of hire.

Experience & Background

  • One year experience in sales including leading sales teams
  • One year experience in marketing and promotional strategies.
  • High energy, positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail, and a high degree of initiative.
  • Interpersonal and relationship-focused. Ability to connect with diverse groups at all organizational levels.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • Achieve Sales Goals : Drive membership growth by meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets. Lead the sales process by creating a sales pipeline from connecting with potential members to closing the sale while practicing a consultative selling approach.
  • Innovative Strategies : Develop and implement creative strategies to engage and retain members. Motivate staff to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional member experiences.
  • Community Engagement : Foster strong relationships with community organizations and ensure the Y's presence at key events like health fairs.
  • Leadership : Manage all aspects of the membership staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling. Direct and supervise program activities to meet community needs and YMCA objectives.
  • Marketing : Lead branch marketing efforts and distribute program information effectively. Organize and schedule program registrations and review scholarship applications.
  • Financial Oversight : Develop and monitor program budgets to meet fiscal objectives. Ensure optimal use of facilities for program activities and events.
  • Fundraising : Participate in fundraising activities and special events.
  • Program Evaluation : Compile membership statistics, monitor participation, and evaluate effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.

The yearly salary range for this position is $42,000 - $48,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
