Honeybee Robotics is seeking a Quality Manager to provide organizational support for customer programs and supplier quality requirements. You will be responsible for quality engineering, system and process improvements, supplier development and RCCA activity including non-conformance analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality functions for assigned programs from proposal through shipment to the customer, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Interpret customer and program requirements, develop robust strategies, and execute plans to maintain quality standards throughout the program lifecycle.
- Manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians, including developing and monitoring key performance metrics to uphold quality processes.
- Analyze design reliability and quality, propose process enhancements, and work with Engineering to achieve production readiness.
- Host customer and internal quality audits, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Interface with suppliers to establish QA/QC tools for measuring supplier performance and address any issues affecting products and services.
- Track action plans from supplier audits, ensuring timely completion and correctness.
- Issue formal supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and collaborate with suppliers to resolve problems.
- Issue internal and supplier Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as necessary.
- Provide guidance in interpreting and adapting quality standards and government regulations, offering advice as needed to support compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline, preferably with a focus on electronics.
- Familiarity and understanding of current ISO 9001/AS 9100 quality systems.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering specifications, mechanical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Knowledgeable about process capability concepts, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in Supplier Quality Assurance, alongside a deep comprehension of continuous improvement principles, lean manufacturing practices, and ERP/MRP planning systems.
- Proficient in Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a working knowledge of MS Project.
- Experience working in aerospace (or related industry) quality systems.

$120,000 - $149,000 a year
Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
