Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and ambitious Senior Manager of Accounting to lead our accounting function. This role is perfect for a highly intelligent, self-starter who is eager to win and make a substantial impact. You will own all accounting processes and be a key player in our financial strategy, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Accounting Functions: Maintain and oversee all financial processes, including monthly and yearly closes, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Financial Audits & Compliance: Manage year-end financial audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, communicate with stakeholders, and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledgers.
- KPI Development: Develop key performance indicators and financial metrics to evaluate and enhance organizational performance.
- Internal Controls & SOPs: Enhance and develop internal controls, processes, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, inspire, and mentor a team of 3 accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning: Collaborate with the FP&A team on budgeting, variance analysis, and preparing monthly financial packages for management review.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and K-1 packages, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and international tax regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of 3 direct reports, driving performance and professional growth.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience within a high-growth organization.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA and MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suite.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 BC is a strong plus.
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
- Ability to meet deadlines with ease in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a business-to-consumer model, technology-oriented, or e-commerce environment preferred.

Compensation:
$160,000-$165,000
The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.
