Role : Business Operations Specialist 2 (ISO Systems Specialist)

Location : Mapleton, IL

Duration : 12 months contract with possible extensions


Job Description

Summary : The main function of a business operations specialist is responsibility for maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001 guidelines. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a Manager.


Job Responsibilities:

May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product. Ensure compliance with all ISO9001 guidelines.


Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Knowledge of business and management principles.

Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.


Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

The position performs internal auditing duties in support of the Client Quality Management System and provides feedback to ensure continuous improvement


Reason/motivation for request:

- Addition

- This position will be part of the Quality Management team at CMO. The team will be focused on a gap analysis of the CQMS at CMO. They will also assist in resolving issues by selecting the best solution.


Typical task breakdown:

- Plan, coordinate and conduct internal quality audits

- Generate reports regarding the quality status of the CQMS, and any significant trends indicated by the data

- Identify, analyze and resolve non-conformance


Interaction with team:

- The internal auditor will work directly with all members of the Quality Management team to collaborate on internal quality audits.


Work environment:

- CMO is a fast paced foundry and machining environment


Education & Experience Required:

- Experience must demonstrate knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent Quality Management Systems

- Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

- Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
