Travel Pharmacist in Springfield, IL

**Job Title:** Pharmacist - Inpatient
**Job Specialty:** Inpatient Pharmacist
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30); Mid 5x8-Hour (14:30 - 23:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment.
**Experience:** Minimum 3 years inpatient/acute care experience required
**License:** IL state license required; active application acceptable with ETA
**Certifications:** BCPS, BLS, Board Certified
**Must-Have:**
- Inpatient/Acute care experience
- Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist experience
- Expertise in dosing: Anticoagulants, Cardiac dosing, Clinical dosing, Geriatric dosing, High-risk medications, Pediatric dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing, Psychotherapeutic Management, Renal dosing, Therapeutic medication monitoring
- Experience with Pyxis
**Job Description:**
- Work primarily two shifts: 0700-1530 and 1430-2300
- Required to work 8 weekends per contract
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with manager
- Will not float within or between facilities
- Experience using Cerner charting system required
- No on-call duties required
- Must adhere to flu vaccine policy; exemptions considered for medical/religious reasons
- Participate in 16 hours of orientation
- Complete virtual modules on the first day and annually
Note: All candidates must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints if a state license is not in hand.
