This organization is focused on delivering a significant improvement in how data, knowledge, and predictions are leveraged to discover new medicines.

We are a full-stack team that includes leaders in product and portfolio management, data engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, as well as experts in analysis and knowledge platforms. Our key objectives are:

  • Building a next-gen, metadata- and automation-driven data experience that helps scientists, engineers, and decision-makers work more efficiently, reducing the time spent on "data mechanics."
  • Offering top-tier data analysis tools to enhance predictive capabilities and attract high-level talent.
  • Engineering data at scale as a unified asset to unlock the full potential of our unique datasets and real-time predictions.

Product Management is central to the mission, ensuring our infrastructure, platforms, and user-facing data tools maximize impact. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to create a strategic roadmap that covers everything from data assets and knowledge graphs to computing and analysis platforms and data-powered applications.

We’re looking for an experienced Director for our Analysis and Computing Platforms products. In this role, you’ll shape the strategy for these platforms to meet customer needs. You’ll work closely with teams across R&D departments (genomics, computational biology, chemistry, etc.), and portfolio and engineering leadership to deliver cutting-edge solutions. You’ll guide the product roadmap, lead development, and ensure the successful launch and adoption of the platform. As the organization grows, you'll also build and lead a team of Product Managers who understand the business and can translate customer needs into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement a product strategy for the Analysis and Computing Platform that aligns with overall goals.
  • Roadmap Development: Plan and prioritize features and improvements based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and portfolio teams to ensure successful product development and rollouts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather feedback and incorporate it into product planning.
  • Product Launch: Manage product launches, including communication, documentation, and training to drive adoption.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and monitor key product metrics, regularly evaluating the platform's success.
  • Product Champion: Act as an ambassador for the platform, showcasing its value and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay on top of trends in data analysis and computing platforms to ensure innovation and competitiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering innovation and excellence within the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
