Job Summary: Directs, administers, and coordinates the day-to-day operations and administrative activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. Oversees sales and business development goals of the organization including active involvement in the new business acquisitions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
- Guides and directs the financial, administration, human resources and scheduling aspects of the organization and its affiliates.
- Prepares short-term and long-range business plans, based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
- Oversees project budgeting, job costing and analysis for trending and tracking purposes.
- Implements programs that meet corporate goals and objectives.
- Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth.
- Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
- Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the CFO.
- Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all employees are defined and understood.
- Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Processes client, vendor and employee complaints and initiates corrective actions.
- Inspects physical facilities, grounds, and vehicles for such factors as cleanliness, safety, and appearance, and takes required actions to meet prescribed standards. Ensures that all governmental regulations, codes, and standards are complied with.
- Creates business development opportunities.
- Provides direction and training for all sales and marketing activities.
- Prepares estimates and proposals for new business.
- Represents the organization with major customers, shareholders, the financial community, and the public.
- Reviews sales, route driver and technician reports.
- Evaluates technology, equipment and concepts that will better serve our clients and advance the organization.
- Purchases necessary parts, equipment, and products.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Work Environment:
- Office setting will be primary work location.
- Occasional work in distribution center warehouse and locations with limited climate controls
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
- 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Ability to operate ordering and tracking electronic devices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and managers.
