Job Requirements / Description
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end financial reports to support calls with senior leaders.
- Maintain cadence of all planning activities for the Aviation & Maritime Business Line,
- inclusive of forecasts and budgets.
- Coordinate completion of monthly reporting package and quarterly business reviews presented to the executive management team.
- Responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis activity in locations not yet large enough for dedicated FP&A resources.
- Liaise closely with the accounting team during month-end closing.
- Provide meaningful financial data and analysis to impact key business decisions.
- Develop a thorough understanding of cost structures and application of knowledge to planning and analysis activities.
- Conduct ad hoc planning and analysis, as required to support executive staff.
- Lead and participate in process improvement efforts.
- Identify areas of cost savings and implement strategies to realize savings.
- Maintain all client and employee information that may be encountered either directly or indirectly while in performing of the job in strict confidence and in accordance with HIPAA and /or any other pertinent confidentiality regulations.
- Master's degree (or a foreign equivalent degree) in Business Administration, Finance, or closely related field
- 2 years of experience functioning as a financial planning analyst working with cross functional teams and utilizing COGNOS in performing financial analysis work with a complex, global org.
- Domestic and International travel may be required for up to 3 weeks per year.
