Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg in Fargo, ND

**Job Title:** Resource Team Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Med-Surg Float Pool
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Day/Night Rotating Shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours Per Week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 Year Med-Surg Experience in a Large Busy Hospital (Minimum 200 Beds)
**License:** Active RN License in ND or Compact State
**Certifications:** BLS - Must be from the American Heart Association
**Must-Have:**
- EPIC Experience
- Previous Float Pool Experience Preferred
**Job Description:**
- Perform head-to-toe assessments
- Administer medications through various routes
- Formulate and document care plans
- Provide care for wounds, lines, and drains
- Utilize equipment such as Epic EMR, Accudose Rx, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips vitals machines
- Float across all medical-surgical units and med-surg status patients within critical care units
- Work with med-surg specialty units including oncology, trauma, cardiac, neuro, observation, medical behavioral, and innovations
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 1:5-6 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs
- Participate in training, including one full shift on various med-surg units and team expectations and campus tours
**Additional Information:**
- Rotating days/nights; preferences will be accommodated when possible, but are not guaranteed
- Must work every other weekend and holiday
- Cannot take candidates living within 60 miles of the facility; local rates may apply for candidates living 61 to 80 miles away
- Training includes one full shift in various med-surg units and a few hours for team expectations and campus tours during the first week of hire
