Position Summary:
As the General Ledger Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will oversee all general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, managing the month-end close process, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support informed business decisions.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors to ensure timely and successful audit completion.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving accounting regulations and industry trends, making recommendations to align with best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Sage Intacct is a plus).
- 3+ years of public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
