Project Manager Full-time

We are seeking a Project Manager to be the driving force for our global Internet of Things projects that can lead technical teams, support the project from start to finish, and deliver the project on time. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Project Management. He or she will work closely with customers and internal teams to develop a timeline, manage issues, action items, update management regularly on status, and issue jeopardies as necessary to inform teams of risks to on-time delivery. This is a customer-facing role that requires an individual with strong technical, communications, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead global projects from pre-sale phase to definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  2. Create the project timeline.
  3. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  4. Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  5. Lead effort on RFQ and RFP responses.
  6. Support the writing of project documentation such as requirements specification, design document, integration guide, etc. as defined in the statement of work.
  7. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  8. Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

Preferred Experience

  1. 3-5+ years of direct experience in new product development and introduction in one or more of the following technology areas: Mobility, Telematics, IoT, Network Access Devices.
  2. 3-5+ years of Project Management experience.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Experience with SmartSheet.
  5. Ability to speak both English and Spanish is desired.
  6. Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, up to 20%.
  7. Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
