2nd Shift Warehouse Worker

Salary:
Starting wage ~ $24.70/HR
Job Function:
The Warehouse worker role is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, receiving and stock inventory as well as operating machinery. This position requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors and quantities of merchandise.
- Measure, weigh, or count products or materials.
- Obtain merchandise from bins and shelves.
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, cutters if qualified.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Wrap and label packages for delivery.
- Warehouse housekeeping duties
- This position is a Union position and will require a 90-day probationary period
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company's products & services.
- Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Ability to operate machinery/equipment with safety as the priority.
- Has knowledge in safety training and best practices.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 50 pounds and team lift above 50 pounds.
- The position operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, forklifts, pallet jacks, cutters, and wrappers.
- Ability to climb ladders.

Full-time Union position at Anchor Central Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
