Senior Payroll Manager
Killer opportunity for experienced payroll professionals
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll, including review and audit of payroll information
- Collaborate with client teams and processing platform contacts to ensure payroll accuracy
- Train and become proficient in various payroll and benefit platforms
- Manage client payroll compliance, state payroll taxation, registrations, and benefit plans
- Assist in client implementation and/or conversion of payroll and benefit plans
- Transition client work to other team members as needed
- Other job-related tasks or projects
Qualifications:
- Proactive and efficient mindset to meet client needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll related platforms
- Knowledge of state registrations, payroll tax, and compliance activities
- Minimum 6 years' experience in multi-state payroll processing
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or relevant certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Remote or Telecommute work from home.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
