Open-Rank Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty

Job Description: The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for an open-rank tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Chemical Engineering.
The Department is home to approximately 500 undergraduates, 100 graduate students, and 20 faculty members. Interdisciplinary collaborations are fostered by college-level and campus-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a vibrant externally-funded research program.
- Maintain an active research agenda and record of publications.
- Teach a regular course load at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Participate in service activities at the department, college, campus, and professional levels.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have met the requirements for a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment. We are particularly interested in applicants with research interests in Biotechnology and Biomolecular Engineering or Catalysis and Reaction Engineering.
Appointments are expected to begin July 1, 2024. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
