Job Description
We're hunting for a Clinical Ambulatory Services Rep II, someone who's ready to be part of the best ranked children's hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will be responsible for both clinical and non-clinical duties. The role will provide patient care and excellent customer service in the Texas Children's healthcare setting. To help coordinate flow and provider schedules to effectively manage patient care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service skills.
Welcomes and interacts with all patients, families, and visitors in a professional, timely, age appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner.
Responds to customer questions with prompt information and/or service related to appointment status, wait time, or unanticipated problems.
Communicates with patient, staff, and providers regarding patient arrivals, delays, and clinic processes.
Proactively approaches dissatisfied customers and implements customer service recovery measures.
Identifies prolonged wait times for patients in waiting room and reports to clinic manager.
Obtains translation services as needed for customers.
Participates in meetings to assist in planning optimal patient flow for session/day.
Attends staff meetings or signs attendance records for reading of minutes and attends mandatory training and development activities by established guidelines as evidenced by supervisory observation and written/verbal feedback.
Notifies licensed staff or supervisor when unable to complete assigned tasks or responsibilities.
Facilitates the appointment check-in procedure
Coordination of Schedules.
Provides high quality, cost-effective patient care for clinicians and the patient/family.
May collect specimens and perform Point of Care Testing.
Facilitates patient flow as the scheduling master for the clinic.
Skills & Requirements
H.S. Diploma or equivalent preferred College degree in related field
