Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Chandler, AZ

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Float Pool

**Shift:** 12-hour days, 4 weekend shifts per schedule; first to float, potential to float to a sister facility
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:** Ability to titrate cardiac drips, pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts allowed), and complete a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation
**Job Description:**
- Must be flexible and willing to float between various Telemetry and Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) units.
- Potential to float to ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and other units, including MedSurg and holding areas.
- Floating may include different campuses, with campus and unit notifications provided 1.5 hours prior to shift start.
- Candidates must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival at another.
- Must be able to interpret EKGs and work without an IV Team.
- Provides care to patients with a range of conditions, including post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, and neuro post-surgical.
- Responsible for administering medications such as Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine with capacity to titrate down.
- Works in coordination with a centralized tele monitoring system.
- Hospitalists available for rounds during the day and on-call at night; RT & Pharmacy services are available 24/7.
- Charge Nurse available without patient assignment and support from Clinical Supervisors in management roles.
- PCTs support with one tech per every 16 patients.

- Diverse patient settings ranging from neuro post-surgical to general tele patients, including ortho, surgical, oncology, and general MedSurg patients with tele monitoring requirements.
- Requires the ability to adapt skills to various work environments and dynamics on short notice.
