Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a prestigious accounting firm to find a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join their team. As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing audit engagements, managing a team of auditors, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to contribute to the success of our clients and the firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, managing client relationships, reviewing audit findings, and providing guidance to junior staff. You will also stay up-to-date with auditing standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with industry best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong background in auditing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and is able to effectively manage multiple engagements concurrently.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute audit engagements, including establishing scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Oversee and manage audit teams, assigning tasks and reviewing workpapers.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Identify control deficiencies and recommend improvements to internal controls.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in external auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
  • Experience in managing and supervising audit engagements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in audit software and tools.
