JOB SUMMARY: Hinckley-Big Rock School District is seeking a substitute school bus driver. Responsibilities may include substituting on regular and special education school routes, filling in on athletic event trips, and other driving duties as needed.
The Hinckley-Big Rock School District will train a qualified applicant who does not currently possess a license to drive a school bus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Must be 21 years of age or older.
2) Have a valid and current Illinois driver's license or school bus driver's license/endorsement.
3) Possess a valid driver's license for 3 years immediately prior to the date of your application, which has not been revoked, suspended, cancelled or disqualified.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent and demonstrated skill in reading, writing and communication. Previous driving experience is preferred.
STARTING SALARY: $ 21.97 per hour for regular routes
