Your opportunity
- Provide leadership to the Transfer Agency team that provides business operational support to the teams that provide world-class service to clients that invest in Janus Henderson US mutual funds.
- Provide management and direction to supporting staff for one or more specific function(s) or work group(s) within the Transfer Agency department.
- Work closely with relevant Third-Party Administrators (vendors) ensuring that the levels of oversight and monitoring of controls and processes are set and performed to required levels.
- Play key role in the support of audit activities that impact the Transfer Agency.
- Plan and monitor work activities to ensure all functions are performed timely and meet quality standards. Communicate trends to senior management.
- Work closely with key stakeholder departments (within and outside of the Transfer Agent) understanding operating models and providing feedback on projects/initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate all phases and responsibilities of projects for functional area.
- Assist in the design and preparation of management information reporting for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Provide back-up and support to the Senior Manager, Business Operations as appropriate.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills
- 2 years progressive management experience in customer service/client focused role required.
- Proven record of managing and implementing effective operational change.
- Ability to quickly create and maintain positive/productive working relationships with staff, clients, and peers from other internal departments: build wide and effective network of contacts. Work with these departments to identify problems and present potential solutions.
- Take ownership and accountability for actions, projects and/or people. Make decisions based on sound reasoning and considered risks.
- Ability to resolve complex client/stakeholder issues positively and professionally.
- Ability to analyze numerical data and other sources of information for categorization, pattern, and relationship identification.
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written); includes presenting and/or leading facilitation in group settings.
- Ability to effectively prioritize resources and operate in an environment with shifting priorities, high work volumes, tight deadlines, and high accuracy standards.
Nice to have skills
- Understanding of relevant US open end mutual fund regulation and its application to fund shareholder transactions and transfer agency activities.
- 3 years financial services experience or equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of relevant Transfer Agent technology systems (SS&C TA2000/AWD or similar).
- Thorough knowledge of company Janus Henderson Investors products and mutual funds.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$115,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be posted until October 15, 2024. Colorado law requires an estimated closing date for job postings. Please don't be discouraged from applying if you see this date has passed.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
