Director of Inventory Accounting

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the transformation of this accounting function, implementing innovative processes and technologies
2. Oversee all aspects of inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence
3. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and efficiency
4. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that aligns with this company's vision and values
5. Drive process improvements and implement best practices across the accounting department
6. Engage with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum 6+ years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, SOX and inventory valuation methods
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
