Tricon Energy is actively seeking a Territory Manager to build our PE/PP distribution business across the United States. While our global headquarters are based in Houston, Texas, we are open to applicants based anywhere in the continental United States who bring relevant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve the annual sales budget in sales volume and profitability as committed.
- Understand a daily market, market trend such as supply & demand, competitive landscape and then timely communicate with all stakeholders.
- Manage and grow territory sales, identifying and growing new accounts, demonstrating knowledge in all aspects of the customer relationship including resin needs, credit, capital costs, logistics and inventory management.
- Build and expand relationships with key purchasing decision makers for selling of products and with key decision makers for sourcing of products.
- Support to develop annual budget and mid and long-term growth strategy for the assigned region.
- Align target account pipeline with supplier needs on branded prime, generic prime and off grade sales.
- Initiate and conclude profitable distribution transactions with minimum risks and maximum returns.
- Pro-active, self-motivated individual with a high energy level and sense of urgency.
- A "self-starter", who is able to work with minimum supervision, recognizing potential opportunities and taking timely, appropriate action.
- "Bottom-line" orientation, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to bring transactions to profitable conclusion.
- Effective time manager who keeps commitments and consistently meets deadlines.
- Good communicator, throughout all levels of the company, suppliers, and customers.
- Good research and analysis skill.
- Good knowledge about PP/PE products and markets.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in PP/PE distribution/resins sales in the US
- Experience in specialty polymer and distribution sale will be highly preferred.
