Description:
The Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) is a senior executive responsible for the utilization and governance of data across the organization with a primary focus and understanding on how data supports the strategy and direction of the business. Specifically, the CDAO will use data to create real-world evidence of specific outcomes as it relates to OMI projects.
The CDAO is expected to perform these tasks by using various tools and technologies, including AI, machine learning, the cloud, IoT, advanced analytics and business intelligence software. The CDAO is responsible for building a team of data professionals who understand the organization's culture, objectives and industry, so that they can apply data analysis to address concerns, challenges, risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A Medical degree required and a Master’s in clinical research or health informatics is preferred. A valid medical license and 10+ years clinical experience. 4+ years’ experience in a management role is advantageous.
