We are currently seeking a Corporate Development Specialist for Mergers & Acquisitions to play an integral role in identifying prospective targets and executing comprehensive outreach efforts to business owners and C-level executives, in this high visibility, growth-oriented position.

Annual Salary: $90K+, commensurate with experience
Incentive Plan: Eligible for a Discretionary Incentive Package
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification of new targets each week in key markets by leveraging information sourced from the CEO, COO, CFO, and Regional Presidents.
- Lead market research efforts through direction from CEO, COO and CFO and maintain competitive landscape analyses.
- Work with the CEO and CFO to assist in the analysis of qualifications of the targets, including financial information.
- Utilize networking and engagement skills with professional interactions with potential sellers on conference calls and in person meetings with CEO.
- Serve as intermediary during preparation and negotiation of purchase agreement and facilitate exchange of documents.
- Coordinate all pre-closing activities including buyer’s and seller’s experts, legal and consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field required, Advanced Degree a plus!
- Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated success in BD, strongly prefer B-to-B, in higher volume, lower transactional type environment.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing a CRM to drive improved sales results required, Sales Management skillset will be considered.
- Basic to Moderate financial insight required, experience as a Lending Specialist, Broker, or Closing Specialist will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in BD with Executive/C-Level Leadership and Small Business owners required, experience as a Business Consultant or Analyst will be considered.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and strategic advising skills a must, ability to develop metrics (budget, sales, commissions) specific to individual business needs, preferred.
- Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions in any capacity preferred, Marketing & Branding skillset a plus!
