We are currently seeking a Program Manager - Cloud Support Services to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).
NTT DATA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of Cloud Support Services for a federal scientific research agency. This role will be responsible for the overall planning, execution and management of cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies and IT service management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, following established project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and federal government clients to ensure project goals and expectations are met.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Oversee the execution of program activities ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, agency requirements, and industry best practices for cloud migration and modernization.
- Manage program risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with agency customers to ensure successful adoption of cloud services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the PMO framework, including project management standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Oversee the portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities to optimize program performance and efficiency.
- Manage subcontractor relationships ensuring performance meets expectations.
- Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions and enhance customer experience.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. FedRamp, NIST).
- Oversee development of comprehensive training programs for agency personnel and customers on cloud technologies, security and new tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7 years’ experience in program management with a focus on IT infrastructure and cloud computing.
- 5 years’ experience supporting a US Federal Agency.
- 5 years' experience using Agile methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card Holder.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a scientific research environment.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
