Team Lead Outfitting

For a company in the Vlissingen area, we are looking for a Team Lead Outfitting .

As a Team Lead Outfitting, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading an outfitting engineering team during the basic and detailed engineering phases of shipbuilding projects.
2. Overseeing the detailed engineering of outsourced packages, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
3. Advising on work breakdown structures and effectively allocating man-hour budgets.
4. Delivering high-quality engineering work on time, meeting project requirements.
5. Supervising engineering team activities within 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or Catia.
6. Integrating vendor and subcontractor information, performing technical analysis on offers, and supporting design checks and reviews.
7. Monitoring and controlling man-hours spent and providing progress reports to the Project Manager Engineering.
8. Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and specifications.
9. Contributing to the department's development by developing and describing standards and working methods.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field combined with at least five years of experience in outfitting systems engineering.
2. Proficiency in 2D and 3D systems, preferably Cadmatic or Catia, with experience in ships or offshore installations.
3. Experience in leading mid-size engineering teams of up to ten people and structuring work packages effectively.
4. Knowledge of class and statutory rules and regulations such as SOLAS, Lloyds Register, and DNV.
5. Experience in working with vendors, subcontractors, and Good Engineering Practices, with a strong focus on quality and budget awareness.
6. Proficiency in Dutch, German, and English languages, both written and verbal.
7. Strong references, as pre-employment security screening is standard.
8. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
