Overview

The Atlanta Office of a national, AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a recent graduate from an accredited 4-year college or university who is considering law school.  Who wants to learn more about the legal profession and has an interest in working for 2 years prior to pursuing further education. Our Atlanta Office of Nelson Mullins, a national, AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking qualified applicants for a Corporate Analyst position. Primarily focusing on Real Estate Capital Markets. In this role, you will represent multinational financial institutions as loan seller and underwriters' counsel in commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan securitizations.  

A Day in the Life

Working with a collaborative team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: assisting team leaders with client and workflow management; basic document drafting and preparation; assisting attorneys with corporate compliance at the local, state, and federal level; researching corporate records in a variety of jurisdictions, conducting legal research as necessary, and analyzing market data; handling administrative duties to support the legal team in its day to day activities in a wide variety of legal areas. You will communicate directly with clients and related parties, organize deal closing checklists, and maintain workspaces on our data management platform. Additionally, you will prepare loan summaries and assignment documents and manage overall deal flow. The position will also involve tasks related to Emerging Companies and Venture Capital, including capital transactions, equity and debt raises, mergers and acquisitions, and preparing third-party contracts. While your initial responsibilities will primarily center on real estate capital markets, we aim to gradually expand your role to include additional tasks as desired.

You are highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 

    • Ability to work overtime to accommodate projects as needed
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Education or experience in business is a plus
