Compensation:
Friends For All believes in compensating our employees fairly and we look at both internal and external salary analysis. The range listed is an estimate as it looks at the total compensation package as well as factors such as skill sets, training, education and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range as this gives the employee a chance to grow into the role.
SUMMARY:
The Friends For All's Pharmacy Liaison is the key representative that provides exemplary customer service to bridge any gaps between pharmacy services and the organization's telehealth program. The Pharmacy Liaison also works closely with the VP of compliance and pharmacy and clinic staff to ensure agency's pharmaceutical compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Manage inventory for all shipping related supplies needed for pharmacy related programs.
  • Restock pharmacy as needed on all shipping supplies at the FFA Pharmacy.
  • Coordinate and reconcile pharmacy charge account and financial related needs with external pharmacy partner, FFA CFO, and Sr VP of Compliance.
  • Coordinate and reconcile all financial needs as directed by FFA CFO and Sr VP of Compliance with external insurance partnerships.
  • Perform daily shipments of all medications/packages dispensed by the FFA Pharmacy Staff; print related mailing labels from external shipping partner; ensure delivery confirmed for external shipping partner.
  • Reconcile invoices from vendors (i.e. FedEx, Telehealth Provider, etc) and enter POs as available.
  • Assist Sr VP of Compliance with coordination and buildout of any program related needs as the pharmacy program advances and grows.
  • Perform regular compliance audit checks on all program related items (i.e. medical records, program related spreadsheets/databases, pharmaceutical purchase vendor invoices)
  • Perform regular inventory updates on pharmacy related programs (internal & external) for tracking purposes.
  • Place orders through external pharmaceutical vendor as instructed by medical orders related to pharmacy infusion based program, and submit for approval/authorization by the Sr. VP of Compliance.
  • Meet as needed with external partners and FFA pharmacy team to ensure program success and all parties have all services and items needed for success.
  • Reconcile data sent through various venues (i.e. email; SharePoint; external vendor portals; external communication channels; database update.
  • Update databases, company records, and external vendor communication platforms as needed related to program clients.
  • Upload and coordinate with other FFA staff on patient medical records in compliance department server.
  • Make pharmacy related phone calls to program related patients to confirm information, update regarding dispensing, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Make follow-up calls and emails as needed related to program related patients to confirm information, update regarding dispensing, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist Sr VP of Compliance with coordination of meetings; program related updates; tracking databases; and all program related needs.
  • Assist Sr VP of Compliance with coordination of communication with FFA Staff, FFA Pharmacy Staff, and all External Vendors related to pharmacy program.
  • Perform daily check-ins with FFA Pharmacy Manager and assigned pharmacist related to all patients and packages to be dispensed each day.
  • Build and ensure integration works successfully with external shipping platform.

  • Regular and predictable punctuality and attendance is required
  • Return all calls, emails and text in a timely manner.
  • Participate in weekly or biweekly coaching sessions with supervisor
  • Complete Performance Reviews and SMART GOALS
  • Participate in All Staff Meetings, In-Service Days and Mandatory Trainings
  • May need to travel in personal vehicle to meet staff, clients, or community partners at FFA locations or at other locations to meet the needs of the position

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Efficient in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat
  • Database buildout and management experience preferred
  • Pharmacy related experience preferred
  • Financial and reconciliation experience a plus
  • Good strategic/critical thinker, self-starter, goal-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to operate with purpose, urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment -- with particular attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work with a diverse client population
  • Strong relationship-builder both with team and clients (internal and external)
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Computer skills: ability to efficiently navigate the Internet and input data into applicable systems; familiarity with MS Office 365, especially Outlook and SharePoint, Adobe, TEAMS and Zoom

  • Maintain confidential information and adhere to all Friends For All policies and procedures regarding sharing of financial information and Protected Health Information (PHI).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Must have a valid State Driver's License, provide proof of automobile insurance coverage to employer at all times and have an automobile to be used daily.

OSHA CATEGORY:
This position performs tasks that may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Training will be provided per Standard Operating Procedure for your area of operation. All FFA employees are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis B vaccination series.
