We are looking for our next Human Resources Generalist to join this amazing team.
Under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources (HR) Generalist will perform a wide variety of HR duties including programs to support recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, HRIS and Relias systems. The HR Generalist will ensure efficient department operations along with hospitality and support to all employees.

Who are you:
  • Two to five years Human Resources experience required and/or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
  • High school graduate required. Bachelor Degree highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office 365, HRIS systems, and other office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail including the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Must maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to use judgement in making decisions.
  • Ability to provide thoughtful, progressive, and strategic guidance.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to initiated follow-through as needed to assist others.
  • Must pass background check and obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Level 1.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred or willing to obtain in the future.
Principle Duties:
  • Assists in coordination and recording of human resources processes including recruiting, hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, leaves of absence, benefits, and more.
  • Serve as a point of contact on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail in filing and managing employee records with new hires, assignment changes, promotions, transfers, terminations, salary increases, and more.
  • Monitor and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Verifies, tracks, and regularly audits for compliance employee licenses, certifications, work permits, food handler's cards, TB tests and other required documentation in preparation for survey.
  • Helps support the recruitment efforts with interviewing and/or other coordination for hiring; actively participates and ensures successful onboarding.
  • Assist with Sagewood's culture and values; promotes a highly engaged and productive work environment, where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues; manages engagement initiatives.
  • Manages the implementation, interpretation and administration of established HR policies and programs; assists in keeping employees informed of HR policies by answering - and researching as needed policy-based questions and coordinating with enterprise HR as appropriate; counsels with and coaches' employees and management on HR policy adherence matters.
  • Administers employee benefits.
  • Processes terminations and conducts exit interviews as needed.
  • Leads and manages Sagewood's Fun Team.
