This Territory Sales Manager-Tracheostomy is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through selling activities which include cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, product in-services, driving market share and sales growth.

Main job responsibilities:

Business Acumen

  • Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives.
  • Navigate and document hospital ordering processes and understand demand patterns.
  • Understand the complexities of selling to complex care facilities and the impact on sales cycles.
  • Become a product expert and drive significant market share gain from established competitors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory and company objectives.
  • Understand customer's environment and key decision makers.
  • Ensure timely advancement of the sales process with all targeted accounts.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and understand financial business models.

Selling Skills:

  • Demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy.
  • Plan monthly/weekly/daily call routine for key targeted accounts.
  • Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth.
  • Knowledgeable of competitive activity in each targeted account.

Relationship Building:

  • Retain and grow business within current customer base.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts.
  • Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOL's) within hospital systems.
  • Leverage relationships to drive company objectives.

Clinical Knowledge and Self Development:

  • Proficient understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of competitive activity and market trends.
  • Attend industry-related meetings/events as required.

Administrative:

  • Organize and manage information utilizing CRM tools.
  • Maintain current records and administrative duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of Medical Device Sales
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's License and have a suitable automobile.
  • Available for regional travel up to 50%.
  • Must complete credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.
