What you'll be doing

  • You'll establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance expectations. Create and execute project work plans, revise when appropriate to meet changing needs; i dentify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities; m anage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate successful project completion. Set and manage client expectations; c ommunicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate options when project challenges arise; r epresent the company in project meetings; e ffectively facilitate team and client meetings; d evelop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client loyalty.
  • Provide oversight of project staff. Develop design alternatives; s upervise design staff in preparation of PS&E; e nsure QA/QC process is followed.
  • Complete project documents. Initiate and complete any required documentation to support assigned projects; w rite draft and final reports – develop draft reports in concert with other project team members; r eview deliverables prepared by team prior to executive-level review and submission to clients.  

What you bring: 

  • A passion for serving others, communication, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality work
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years of progressively responsible transportation engineering experience
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation 3D experience. Civil 3D and/or InRoads experience
  • Independence and initiative
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to organize and delegate
  • A healthy balance of logic and creativity
