DescriptionThe Mission Concepts & Capabilitis (MCC) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Mid-Level Project Management Analyst focusing on support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering. The candidate demonstrates experience in planning, developing, and executing prototyping efforts for defense organizations. This position requires a candidate with experience performing a variety of tasks to support leaders in the Department of Defense including:Assisting with project oversight from inception through transition with attention to technical and programmatic metrics and milestonesAnalyzing and evaluating project proposals to ensure alignment with DoD strategies and goalsProviding analysis and project management support to monitor project executionTracking project efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problemsConducting technical analysis for proposed, ongoing, or completed projectsDeveloping documents, briefings materials, and responses to short notice data calls for senior leadershipEstablishing working relationships with project and program managersRequired Qualifications:BS/BA Degree in a relevant discipline5-7 years of related experienceSecret or higher security clearanceExperience supporting DoDStrong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skillsDesired Qualifications:TS security clearance with SCI eligibility4+ years desired experienceKnowledge of Defense RDT&EOUSD(R&E) experienceExperience with small businesses or non-traditional performersCOMPANY INFORMATION:Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
