This is a Systems Engineer role that is Hybrid and permits Teleworking for 2 days. If and when there is support requested, you could be required to be on site up to 5 days at the Fort Detrick location. Secret Clearance REQUIRED/ TS preferred but this role will provide an opportunity to upgrade your clearance to TS and be eligible for an SCI.
Requirements include:
- General networking knowledge including but not limited to subnetting, routing, ports and protocols, firewalls, and encryption
- Ability to understand Systems-of-Systems without full knowledge of individual components
- Ability to work with vendors to refine solutions using third party components
- Experience capturing and analyzing system operational capabilities requirements and constraints identified by end user and mission partners
- Experience developing documentation such as SoS OV-1, SV-1, and artifacts
- Create highlevel testing objectives
- Written and Oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI
Desired qualifications:
- Experience AWS a plus
- Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux to include hardening with DISA STIGs
- Ansible experience is a plus
