Position Summary

The Sales and Service Manager (SSM) leads a dedicated team of Associates, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at providing exceptional service to our Customers within a clean, safe, and well-maintained store. Tasked with assuming ownership of their assigned departments, the SSM is responsible for achieving sales targets while prioritizing overall Customer satisfaction across various facets of the PGA TOUR Superstore in-store experience.

  • Move dynamically on the sales floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, Associates, and Customers.
  • Maintain the Company's Operational and Merchandising Standards through a consistent presence on the sales floor.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Enable Associates to be champions of their products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Model and teach Associates Service Behaviors and manage a Customer first culture.
  • Conduct scheduled department walks with Department Head.
  • Provide hiring and termination recommendations based on skills/performance.
  • Regularly review SPS reporting to discern factors influencing business performance.
  • Support in leading Associates onboarding and development coaching.
  • Lead and create a service culture that prioritizes the Customer experience.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of assigned departments inventory.
  • Execute PGATSS community efforts and educate our Associates.
  • Support SLT in delivering all HR operational and cyclical programs.
  • Ensure all Services, Front-End, Soft Goods, Hard Goods, STUDIO and Practice Bay areas are clean, organized, and operational.
  • Know and assess the competition and leverage Customer insights and feedback.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and talent plan.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store.

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic skills and ability to forecast business needs.
  • Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills to manage conflict and lead conflict resolution.
  • Strong business acumen with accountability for P&L management.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lead by example and enforce a high standard of Customer service.
  • College degree or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Experience leading small-large groups of Associates.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift 30 lb. boxes.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
