B & B Poultry is seeking a General Manager to provide hands-on team leadership, oversee day-to-day plant operations, and advance strategic initiatives. The successful General Manager will drive results to meet production deadlines, exceed customer expectations, and ensure processes and systems are operating efficiently including equipment use and maintenance. Additionally, the General Manager will build and strengthen relationships throughout the company and broader industry. B & B Poultry is seeking a loyal, dependable leader to proactively solve problems and guide & develop employees within a fast-paced environment.
General Manager Position Qualifications:
Associate degree in business administration/related field or equivalent experience, required
Minimum of 5 years leadership/management experience, required
Business operations experience and knowledge, essential
General knowledge of industrial mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and facility maintenance systems, preferred
Food safety experience – knowledge of food safety standards & related industry regulations, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), desired
Experience in a poultry/meat/food production organization, a plus
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, required; Understanding of SQL Databases and system troubleshooting, desired
