THE ROLE:

The Director of CRM & Analytics will be responsible for increasing fan growth and engagement, leveraging data and insights to develop and deliver campaigns to key target audiences, and supporting digital business to drive greater engagement. This position will play a key role in developing the organization’s CRM and analytics strategy. They will manage our CRM and interface with executive leadership across the organization to develop a CRM and Campaign Management roadmap that actively supports fan growth and revenue.

WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO:

  • Lead fan-centric acquisition and engagement campaigns across social, email, digital, and mobile marketing platforms.
  • Manage CRM and work with key stakeholders to build a roadmap for the future.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to build cross-departmental strategy.
  • Educate and support our Clubs regarding best practices for fan-centric acquisition and engagement programming.
  • Evaluate the current suite of products and implement new tools and processes that effectively manage CRM and data.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality controls and process improvements.
  • Generate incremental revenue through database marketing and social retargeting.
  • Collaborate with peers across the industry to incorporate best practices.
  • Develop a plan to integrate separate data capture systems into a central data warehouse.
  • Build targeted audience lists for e-marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze primary and secondary ticket sales data to inform ticket pricing strategy.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A THORN:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Background in CRM and/or marketing automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Socially savvy, data expert with the ability to pull insights from large datasets and simplify them into actionable insights.
  • Strong initiative and drive to develop, own, and plan cornerstone projects that push our campaigns forward.
  • Presentation experience with executive leadership.
  • Interest and ability to keep pace with CRM, social media, and Digital Media industry trends and developments and strong capacity to communicate key insights to executives and stakeholders.
  • Superior organization, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
