WHO YOU ARE

The Director of Strategic Marketing is a key member of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role will be responsible for overseeing paid, earned and owned media strategy/planning, managing the total marketing budget, leading the new store and leading menu project management with a cross-functional team. This individual will lead overall management with advertising and PR agencies. In addition, this role will lead the marketing execution of new store openings and build/maintain franchisee education through quarterly webinars and best practices. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work directly with the CMO to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives for the brand
  • Oversee and closely manage marketing budget for overall brand fund
  • Develop, plan and execute paid, earned and owned media to effectively maximize ROI in parallel with paid media agency
  • Responsible for consumer PR, crisis communications and PR agency lead
  • Lead collaboration with R&D, supply chain, operations and marketing for menu project management
  • Build and maintain franchisee education through quarterly webinars and best practice roll outs.
  • Oversee new store and grand opening marketing support to include developing impactful emerging and growth market plans
  • Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Define target audiences and develop marketing campaigns that resonate with them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing objectives with overall business goals
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Conduct analysis on industry trends to identify new market opportunities and innovative ways to reach target audiences
  • Manage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, franchisees, and industry influencers

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND BEHAVIORS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant level role in the QSR industry or fast casual brand opening 50+ locations annually
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office 365, Canva, Social Media Platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation capability, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize under deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with an eye for creativity and deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Superior communication skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, outstanding leadership and mentoring approach and ability to remain flexible in an ever-changing business landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Willingness to travel quarterly or as needed
