Job Summary

As an MCI Managed IT Services Director, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Technology Services into new and existing mid-market RSM clients in the areas of Managed IT Services, Cloud, and Infrastructure (MCI). You will be responsible for delivery of MCI Managed IT Services in the US West Region, supervising advising engagements and teams, providing ongoing guidance (CIO/CTO) to strategic clients, and lead the acquisition of new business. In support of these activities, you will also provide thought leadership, go to market strategy, and play an important role in hiring additional talent in the West Region for MCI.

The RSM MCI practice consists of 400+ technology professionals in North America, India, El Salvador, and the UK who deliver world class, global technology consulting services to organizations in consumer products, financial services, life sciences, non-profit, energy, manufacturing, business and professional services, healthcare, public sector, government contractors and technology and media. Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on the growth of the MCI Managed IT Services business in the US West Region, primarily California, with opportunistic coverage in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and engagement leader to our clients and collaborate with RSM Managed IT Services team members to ensure quality service delivery of Managed IT Service engagements.
  • Serve in a functional or relationship lead capacity for strategic MCI clients in the West Region. Bring the best of RSM by understanding our client's business and challenges.
  • Lead client discovery sessions, including conducting interviews, surveys, workshops, and analysis, to identify client needs, challenges, and opportunities in the areas of managed services, Cloud, cyber security, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with MCI team members to position and sell various consulting engagements that range from IT Infrastructure/Cloud Assessments, CIO/CTO Advisory, and other professional services implementations.
  • Collaborate with other RSM Line of business (Tax, Audit), consulting service lined, industry, and market leadership on go to market strategies to drive west region market growth and establish long-term client relationships.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching (talent management) for West Region MCI staff. This includes goal setting and ongoing performance management.
  • Create and deliver thought leadership on salient technology topics through web content, webinars, and conference speaking opportunities.
  • Contribute to overall growth and development of MCI, by participating in strategic planning, business development, and marketing activities.
Qualifications
  • Based in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA areas.
  • Significant experience selling and delivering Technology Services in the US West Region
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, IT, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in strategic consulting, IT management, or IT service delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Managed IT Services, Cloud, Microsoft and Infrastructure.
  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, and work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Significant experience in at least (1) industry listed above.

25% travel required.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $114,900 - $231,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
