About the job Act as an experienced specialist and practitioner for all reliability engineering matters within the corporation by providing technical expertise to the reliability, integrity and condition monitoring team, delivering a high-level reliability-based maintenance, maintenance optimisation, defect elimination, technical auditing and solution related to all aspects of water and wastewater systems to minimise operational risk, optimise life cycle costs and performance. In addition, your responsibilities will include: Provide specialist reliability in design, root cause investigation, defect elimination, reliability-based maintenance, condition-based maintenance, technical auditing, life cycle cost optimisation, reliability data analysis and risk for SA Water infrastructure to meet equipment availability and maintenance budget constraints. Drive an increased awareness in the Design for Reliability (DfR) process through coordination of an effective DfR consultation and delivery plan with resources from Asset Management, Program/Project Management, WHS, Operations, Maintenance, Design and Construction in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Work effectively within the reliability discipline and engineering teams, with other technical engineering disciplines and across multi-disciplinary teams within the corporation and other partners. Support the corporation to meet maintenance reliability compliance requirements within statutory, regulation, industry code of practice, Australian and International standards. Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Post-graduate qualifications in Reliability Engineering Detailed knowledge of maintenance reliability procedures and practices as applied to the water industry and large engineering organisations and leading expert function as SME Experience in the provision of reliability tools, models and techniques applied to the water industry at a high professional level Demonstrated experience in the execution of novel, complex and critical reliability, and maintenance engineering Experience in the utilisation and auditing of maintenance and reliability standards Further information can be found in the attached PDReliability Engineer PD.docx To apply, click 'Apply'.
