Idea Financial is hiring a Business Advisor to join our Sales team. This role will report to the Portfolio Success and Retention Manager, and you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients, understanding their business needs, and providing them with tailored lending solutions. In this highly visible and strategic position, you will play an integral role in driving top-line growth and revenue for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively represent the company through efficient phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings to introduce the company’s lending solutions.
  2. Work with internal stakeholders to complete loan applications.
  3. Identify and quantify potential clients, assessing their business needs, financial situation, and creditworthiness.
  4. Communicate clearly with clients, lenders, and the underwriting team to facilitate a quick turn time on funding term loans and commercial lines of credit.
  5. Reach out to clients and gather necessary documents to complete loan applications.
  6. Educate clients about the company’s lending solutions, including the terms, rates, and repayment options available.
  7. Strategize and consult with clients to ensure best-in-class service level standards.
  8. Utilize Salesforce to track the status of your activity and loan pipeline.
  9. Continuously identify new opportunities for business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate profile:

  1. Experience in sales or account management, preferably in the financial industry is preferred but not required.
  2. Goal-oriented, a team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
  3. A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering excellent service and support to clients.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand a client’s financial needs and develop customized lending solutions.
  6. If you have used Salesforce in the past, great! If not, be ready to learn.
  7. Knowledge of finance, accounting, and lending principles preferred but not required.

Compensation: Competitive salary + commissions + full benefits.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year.
