The Service Management team is the team that is responsible for the governance and oversight of Choice Hotel’s IT functions as part of a larger Risk Management function. As a key member of our Service Management team, you will support the implementation and maintenance of key IT Systems including ServiceNow and related components (e.g., business rules, screen tailoring, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, service catalog development, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations) for Choice Hotels.

Your Responsibilities
As a ServiceNow Engineer 3, your job responsibilities will include:
Performing as a key contributor in the design, development, implementation, and support of the ServiceNow platform.
Owning release level estimation for development activities.
Taking ownership of complex business requirements and working them to completion.
Reviewing opportunities for process enhancements and recommending potential solutions.
Ensuring tools are designed and implemented based on industry best practices and in accordance with Choice standards and challenging standards when appropriate.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
At least 5 years’ experience in ServiceNow development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate information and data to make decisions
Able to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in achieving results within established timeframes with minimal supervision

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Service Management. You will have 4 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our ServiceNow Engineer 3, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
