We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help us shape the future of our database platform. This is your chance to drive innovation in cloud architectures, deployment models, administration, UI/UX, and more – all while ensuring unparalleled user experiences. Your strategic vision and customer-centric approach will directly impact our roadmap and propel Exasol's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the platform roadmap, driving the development of critical platform components (cloud, business continuity, orchestration, interfaces). Collaborate closely with engineering to translate strategy into reality.
- Bridge market needs and technology serve as the vital link between product engineering, customers, partners, and go-to-market teams. Champion data-driven feature prioritization for maximum market impact.
- Ensure our platform consistently delights users by fostering a deep understanding of customer needs through feedback cycles and direct engagement.
- Build team strength being a mentor and coaching internal teams in product understanding, empowering sales, and engineering to excel.
- Articulate our vision and evangelize our platform through customer interactions, conferences, and industry events.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience shaping B2B products for industry leaders.
- Expertise in databases, Infrastructure-as-Code, UI/UX, cloud deployments, and architectures.
- Passion for data-driven decisions, prioritizing features based on market insights, customer feedback, and key metrics.
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to facilitate effective meetings, deliver compelling presentations, and adapt your communication style to stakeholders at all levels.
- A natural evangelist, enthusiastically promoting Exasol's value proposition, both internally and externally.
- A collaborator, and you enjoy working closely with Engineering Managers (SAAS, integrations, core database) to ensure seamless integration and synergy.
- You provide team support and focus. Part of your mission is to ease the workload of existing Product Managers by expertly interfacing with Research & Development.
