We invite applications for an Sr. Power Apps Developer role based in Renton WA, with an in-office setup. This opportunity will provide you with the platform to design, develop, and test on the Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Apps.
The ideal candidate will possess a good blend of skills in business processes, technology, and be able to contribute to solutions of moderate scope and complexity. You should be capable of working independently while also being available to assist or guide the activities of other employees on the Power Platform after training.
Your role would involve helping to build out our current Power Apps solution. This would predominantly include the use of Power Apps model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Canvas Apps. You should have extensive experience building applications in Power Apps in both model-driven and canvas solutions and your experience should be sufficient to allow yourself to work on multiple projects of varying complexity. You will need to respond to critical issues quickly and efficiently and will need to gain a good understanding of our business operations to create effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- You will be a Sr. Power Apps developer for our company. You will work independently under the management of the COO.
- Improving functionality and automation functions in our current applications using Power Automate.
- Creating data models and updating tables, columns, data types, and table relationships.
- Development and maintenance of the Power Apps portal we use to collect data and interact with external users.
- Creating and maintaining business reports and dashboards built in PowerBI / Power Apps.
- Building Canvas Applications to extend the functionality and experience of our model-driven application.
- Expanding data collection in our model-driven app through APIs and new custom connectors in Power Automate to connect to 3rd party software.
- Updating UI and functionality of the application based on feedback from various departments and users.
- Create and update forms, views, and user flows to ensure accurate data collection, reduced errors, and provide a delightful experience for internal and external users.
- Help to maintain the development roadmap and assist in planning development sprints.
- Creation of Objectives and Key Results.
- Prioritization of features, maintenance, and bug fixes.
- Maintain ticket request board to efficiently implement bug fixes based on user feedback and priority.
- Managing and updating change log for Power Apps to ensure that updates and new features are recorded and communicated to the wider team.
- Managing roles and permissions in the Power Apps environments.
- Working with various stakeholders across the company to discover pain points and potential solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a Technical/Analyst/Software Development or Operational Role.
- At least 2 years of experience building model-driven applications in Power Apps.
- At least 2 years of experience building complex Power Automate flows.
- At least 1 year of experience building canvas applications and portal websites in Power Apps.
- Fluent in JavaScript or other object-oriented language.
- Experience using browser development tools.
- Experience with CRUD/Restful APIs.
- Strong critical thinking abilities/experience with the creation of processes within an operations environment.
- Understanding of JSON, relational databases, Flex, Bootstrap, Responsive Design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Automate custom connectors / API development.
- Experience with Liquid.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000 per year
