Join our mission-driven team as a Substance Abuse Counselor at our Day Reporting Center (DRC) in Santa Barbara, CA. You'll play a key role in helping clients on parole break the cycle of substance abuse and take control of their future.

What You'll Do:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate substance abuse history for all new clients.
- Collaborate with case managers and probation officers to create realistic, individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one counseling to help clients address their substance abuse issues.
- Lead group support meetings and offer educational resources to clients and their families.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and client records.
- Offer referrals to community resources like AA, NA, and other support networks.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in substance abuse counseling (or equivalent experience in place of education).
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of local employment resources and job development is a plus.
- Certification in substance abuse counseling (or ability to obtain within 6 months to one year of employment).
