Program Manager

Overview:

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure the project stays on track.
2. Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors responsible for the design, solution architecture, equipment procurement, and encryption.
3. Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring that all client expectations are managed and met.
4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to project performance, budget, and schedule.
5. Compliance Management: Ensure the project adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the specific requirements of the contract.
6. Financial Oversight: Monitor project costs, approve invoices, and ensure adherence to the budget, including the management of bonding and financial reporting.
7. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, ensuring that all deliverables meet the agreed-upon quality standards and are delivered on time.
8. Post-Implementation Support: Oversee warranty and post-installation support, ensuring a seamless transition for long-term system maintenance.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required): A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field is required.
2. Master’s Degree (Preferred): A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or a related technical field is preferred but not required.
3. Project Management Certification (Required): A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or an equivalent certification is required.
4. Minimum 8-10 Years of Experience in Program/Project Management (Required): The candidate should have at least 8-10 years of experience in managing complex projects in industries like telecommunications, wireless networks, IT infrastructure, or construction.
5. Experience with Federal or State Contracts (Preferred): Experience managing government-funded contracts is highly preferred.
6. Telecommunications and Wireless Networks (Required): 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, wireless networks, or similar infrastructure projects is essential.
7. Subcontractor Management (Required): Experience managing subcontractors is critical.
8. Budget and Financial Oversight (Required): The candidate must have demonstrated experience managing project budgets of similar size and scope.
9. Experience with financial management software such as Costpoint is a plus.
10. Risk and Compliance Management (Preferred): Experience in risk management and compliance with federal and state regulations is preferred.
11. Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Pay Range: USD $35.00 - USD $65.00 /Hr.
