We are looking for a qualified Licensed Massage Therapist that shares our values and wants to assist in our vision to provide the excellent care that the community expects from us. We pride ourselves on very low employee turnover. We are looking for someone who wants a long term position with a great company and has a focus on improving the quality of life for our patients.
As a Hospice Massage Therapist your duties will include but not be limited to:
Contacting referred patients, scheduling visits, and planning your own schedule
Performing assessments, evaluations, and establishing a plan of care and goals for massage therapy
Administering massage therapy while addressing the comfort needs of the patient
Providing education to patients and their families in the use of massage therapy
Preparing goals and progress for each patient and presenting them to our Hospice Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)
Maintaining patient confidence and protecting hospice operations by keeping information confidential
Hospice can be both challenging and rewarding! This job requires a person who will never forget our work requires a team effort. Other requirements include:
Acceptance of philosophy and goals of hospice
Currently licensed to practice massage therapy by the State of Utah
Current Utah driver's license and automobile insurance
CPR certification
Hospice experience is preferred but not required
Proficiency in effectively managing acute pain using therapeutic techniques
Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport with clients

Required experience:
Massage Therapy: 1 year
Required license or certification:
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of Utah
Pay: $60 per visit + mileage
Compensation: $60.00 per hour
