Payroll/HR AdministratorRole SummaryOur client seeks a Payroll/HR Administrator to join their rapidly growing team. The Payroll/HR Administrator assists with Payroll processing using Workday and administers pre-employment, onboarding, and offboarding. The ideal candidate knows payroll law compliance and reporting requirements and multi-state taxation experience requirements. The Payroll/HR Administrator reports to the HR/Payroll Director.Key ResponsibilitiesPayrollReview and reconcile information in the payroll register such as deductions, hires, changes, terminations, 401 K, etc. as accurate and ready for approvalAssist in maintaining payroll records and backup as needed, responsible for payroll folder and upkeepProvide Workday support and be the expert for employeesRun or prepare weekly and monthly reports for accounting and management; these reports include custom reports and TWCReview and reconcile all payroll tax for accuracy and open new state accounts as neededManage the state accounts folder and keep logging credentialsWhen necessary, assist in processing bi-weekly payrolls accurately and on time per the company’s established guidelines and standardsHuman ResourcesManage the pre-employment and onboarding processEnsure the Workday hiring process is up to date with the required approvalsManage Sterling Solutions for background checks, drug screens, and MVRsConduct new employee orientationMaintain employee records and HRIS system to ensure accuracy and complianceWork with the team to maintain job descriptions and ensure all new hires have a job description assignedManage off-boarding process, working with Fleet, IT, and accounting for company access and propertyManage exit survey and report weekly analytics for headcount reportPost communication internally and externallyProcess state unemployment claimsAssist the team with other projects as neededSkills & QualificationsThree years or more of experience in full-cycle payroll processing and talent acquisitionStrong Workday background (recruiting, reporting, payroll, HCM)Proficient computer and data entry skillsStrong analytical and time management skillsPrevious experience in benefits administrationKnowledge of federal and state wage and hour lawsMust adhere to a high level of ethical and confidentiality of information standardsHigh proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office ApplicationsMust be extremely detail-orientated with excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBilingual in Spanish is a plusAdvatix®, Inc. is one of the world’s leading providers of e-commerce Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting Services and Solutions that enable its clients to transform their operations for speed, service, and cost of fulfillment and delivery of goods and services.
