What we’re looking for:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team distributed between Barcelona, Spain and Austin, TX US to create and expand integrations between different software systems. This person should have a background in cloud architecture and strong coding skills.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Work closely with product owners and other engineering teams to solve complex business problems.

  • Design and implement new solutions including software design, architecture, coding, testing and delivering. Own the whole SDLC of your applications.
  • Integrate multiple components and/or services into complex solutions that may involve security, authentication, authorization, accessibility, performance, reliability, observability, logging, and/or resiliency.
  • Collaborate with other members.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience developing & designing applications in React/Typescript.
  • Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including experience writing tests.
  • Experience with UX/UI best practices.
  • Experience building solutions that integrate multiple components and/or services (for example cloud services and APIs) and experience building web-based APIs.
  • Willingness to learn (or knowledge in) PHP and AWS solutions, Docker, GoLang.
  • Experience working under Agile-based development cycles and processes.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience mentoring and sharing knowledge with other developers on the team.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 97,600 USD - 149,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
