**Experience:** 1.5 years of recent pediatric ICU experience
**License:** California RCP License in hand required
**Certifications:**
- RRT national credential required
- RRT-NPS preferred
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen
- Advanced NRP or registration for an Advanced class
- Flu shot required
- Commitment to weekend shifts: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
**Job Description:**
- Provide pediatric respiratory care in a hospital setting.
- Treat patients in various units, including acute care, pulmonary floor, trauma, medical, PICU, NICU, and CTICU.
- Handle high acuity patients, particularly in a Level 4 NICU.
- Work with intubated patients and administer specialty gases such as heliox/iNO.
- Float between departments as necessary and to satellite locations in NICU as needed.
- Complete required orientation and modules, although hours spent on modules do not count towards orientation.
- Maintain compliance with flu vaccine requirements, with no exemptions allowed.
- Work on a flexible schedule and be available for high-demand periods, particularly holidays.
